3 separate samples with amoebae swarming brown hydras fresh water 10X- 40-50X

hi,

I think that you have found a specific parasite of Hydra - Hydramoeba hydroxena.

It tends to become much more abundant in autumn and can cause the collapse of hydra populations.

A fascinating find - thank you!
