Bruce suggests some Mayorella species and perhaps be right

Hi, Yes, it is a Mayorella. It looks a bit like a bat. Polychaos is much larger and much more like the fingers of a hand.

Hi,
It is usually impossible to determine an amoeba from a video, because it gives no information about size, shape of the crystals and the shape of the nucleus. I'm sorry I can't give a name! :cry:

Hi Ferry.
Its size is approximately 60um (as indicated in first post)
Its a 10um nucleus.
and do not have crystals

Hi Carlos,

There are many Mayorellas and most are vaguely described. Your Mayorella could beMayorella cantabrigiensis. M. bulla is now called Dactylamoeba bulla, but the difference between Mayorella and Dactylamoeba can only be seen with an electron microscope :cry:
