Caught this one on the heather by my driveway. (Used a couple of sprigs of heather for the background color).

Nikon MM-11 microscope, Olympus U-TLU, Olympus 5/0.15 LMPlanFL, Canon T3i.

Excellent image, as always.

One thing puzzles me: the file name. It is "1854-1860small.jpg". Does the name have an unusual format, or did you somehow manage to pull this off in only 7 frames??

Thanks all for the kind remarks.

It was illuminated with 3 of the Ikea LED lights and a small yogurt container surrounding the subject, and it was stacked with Zerene.

Rik... the filename "1854-1860small.jpg" was the result of the order in which I edited in a small sub-stack, and I didn't bother to change the name.. The primary stack for the overall picture was 124 images. (Wish I could do this in 7 frames

)
