Specimen from small pond at FSC, Draper's Field, Rhyd-y-creuau

I am currently at a Microscopists' weekend in North Wales.

This specimen was from a pond at the Field Studies Council centre where we are based.

Though we lean upon the same balustrade, the colours of the mountain are different.

Nice image. This is a beast that is rather rare around here. I see a few mixed in with some paramecia though.
