inspired by my microphotography (:

here is an alien based on my photo of a mosqiuto larvae I took couple of months ago. It DID look like an alien so I decided to paint it as a part of a laser paintball arena decoration. I added some numbers (some of them are reffering to microscope parts) to give it more sci-fi atmosphere.

Image

this image quality is very bad because only UV lamps were on (I took it on iso 1600...) It is painted with fluorescent spray paints which are very hard and bad to handle even for a professionalist; it illuminates in UV light.

I'm still hesitating to paint one more there (:

Nice job. Its reminiscent of the work of H.R. Giger.

thanks (: I think it is not the last time when I paint microworld inspired alien. This time I could not do a very precise work - place, light and paints determined a bit sketch-like painting.

Giger is a great artist, it is impossible not to think about him when pretending to create an alien image. His version of the alien was so good because it was not based on a human body, and that made it so original.
