Possibly Heterophrys

Specimen form a mud sample collected today from Warnham Millpond (main pond ), Horsham, UK.

There is a bird hide which overhangs the pond and it is very easy to sling a sample jar on a length of string out of the window...

Graham

Though we lean upon the same balustrade, the colours of the mountain are different.

It must be quite nice to have such a place as Warnham Millpond, so close at hand there Graham. A very lovely place, from your photographs of it. Quite a "sunny" looking creature you have presented here. I wonder if the coloration comes from the mud in which you found it? :-k A very nice image there Graham. One day soon I must get out for a collection or two but that will be some distance to drive unfortunately. I have many areas around here, close at hand, where I could obtain pond samples but they, unfortunately too, are on private property. :(
