The actual ID is still up for grabs. It may be Astasia or Khawkinea. As it turns out, it does have a red eye and it may or may not be capable of metaboly motion. Not exactly sure, as there may be from one to several sub species here, and I am in the process of uploading a second video that shows them better.
The star of this video, or rather, the microbe that takes up the biggest part of the frame, is a paramecia that has just split off his twin, and is resting for now.
