Since a long lost gaseous cloud from Woodstock settled on my house tonight, these pics are perfect!

They really are perfect. The detail is astounding.

Very nice images !
The microcrystals are my favourite subject. I've never tried ascorbic acid yet. But your recent and many previous images show that ascorbic acid has great photographic potential. I must try it somewhen.

Could I ask if the slide was prepared with dissolved or melted ascorbic acid?
This was dissolved in water and spread on a 2x3 inch slide.... no cover slip, dried at room temperature.
