chlamydamonas algae

Post by Craig Gerard »

Sorry, no image, but a request.

Does anyone have images of chlamydamonas algae? If so, could you provide a link internal or external to the forum?

I don't have time at the present moment to search through the forum but if anyone knows of any such posts could you provide a link?

Search on "Chlamydomonas" (spelling difference) turns up a few hits.

Visually the most interesting might be Abel's Stentor and "company" chlamydomonas that we honored with front page in Sept 2010. In that one the alga plays a supporting role.

Chris_M has a nice series Phacus, Chlamydomonas, Haematococcus bloom. But I don't know these critters well enough to know which are which!
