This is a very small jumper, body length only 4mm that I came across in my backyard. It's body scales were iridescent and in the sun it looked purple. Image number 3 shows some of this on the forehead just above the eyes. Despite its size I was able to extract some interesting details of the concave cellular vitreous body that lies beneath the lens. I know nothing more than that which is based off info obtained in "Biology of Spiders" by R. Foelix. The somewhat unorthodox positioning of the subject was necessary to control unwanted reflections.
