Amoeba

Post by lkudzma »

Hello folks! My first post to the forum. I'm not sure of the amoeba species here, flattening and not moving anymore due to a drying slide. It's not going to win awards :) but I like the detail I captured. Zeiss Neofluar 40/0.75 Ph2.

Its a great picture, for a first post or 100th. I really like the phase image.

Thanks Rogelio! Phase contrast has been my primary contrast technique for biological specimens (mostly fungi - my primary interest).

However, I'm almost finished sourcing all that is needed for Zeiss DIC.
I'm inspired by your magnificent DIC photography!
