Hi Arturo, Rogelio,

Thank you,

For the moment I cannot said if the cultur of the Stentor will succeed or not. Stentors are very delicate.
But generally :
I boiled some fresh rain water (not filtered) with wheat seeds or lentils, or something that bring carbohydrates.
I wait that the water cool down.
24 hours later I introduce the ciliats inside the water. either I introduce some plants inside or after a selection under microscope I introduce some species I choose.
If the bacterian growing succeed, you have ciliates 72 hours later.
The cultur live about 2 weeks.

For Stentors I introduce some fresh and clean plants to produce oxygen, and to allow stentor to set on.
A+

Hello, For the moment, the cultur are growing, but there are many species, stentors are not alone.

Here is some blue Stentors which are strenching. I have never see such elongation with Stentor, only with Lacrymaria.

Dimension is about 3 mm
