At some point in the past I had posted some of these with the live inhabitants swimming around. But with those it is hard to study the marvelous shell itself. One difficulty in appreciating these shells is trying to have appreciation for the small size since they appear not unlike much larger shells that are collected at the seashore. But each of these is only about 1/3mm (0.013 inch!) across.
