That's just so wrong!!!!!!
I'm totally with Charles, not good with dentists at all. But it is a great shot, and really makes a change from the regular subjects!
So those are little hunks of synthetic diamond embedded onto a steel shaft?
Why doesn't the blood all just fly off, I thought these things rotated at huge RPM?

Nicely photographed! I don't find these troubling at all -- perhaps my dentists have been too gentle. 
About the diamonds, I'm thinking these are probably embedded in a nickel coating on a steel substrate, much like the sharpening stone photographed HERE.
