Heliozoa " feeding community""

Hi,
i add some shots of Heliozoa in a kind of "feeding community" (is it correct?), formed to hunt larger prey..

Hi Arturo,

It is a little difficult to see what they are really doing, it seems feeding together, but they don't make one large foodvacuole. In any case it is Actinophrys sol and your photos are stunning!

Amazing. I have read about this and seen one picture of it. I think they are doing more than feeding though.

It looks like three individual cells have joined cell walls but have kept individual nuclei. A multi celled animal, but not. That must be handy. :)
