Pleuronema

Post by RogelioMoreno »

Here is a set of Pleuronema that was found on a marine sample. It is very nice looking specimen.

The body is around 103 x 65 microns.

All with Nikon TE300, 20x/0.75 objective, DIC, flash and Canon T3i mounted on the front port of the TE300.

Beautiful images Rogelio. I am still amazed that you can use flash so effectively. It takes me 2 or 3 seconds to flip mirrors and trigger the flash on the Fluophot. :)

Just beautiful Rogelio!

Do you have any thoughts on how beneficial it is, with an inverted, to have gravity working for you by keeping the subjects up against the cover slip?

That is good point and I thought about it; however I am not sure how beneficial it is.

Thank you very much for your comments.
