Here a set of pictures of Litonotus.

All of them with Nikon TE300, 20x/0.75 objective, DIC, flash and Canon T3i mounted on the front port of the TE300.

On picture 1 the body lenght around 130 microns, on the last picture body lenght around 191 microns.

Pictures 2, 3 and 4 show different stage of reproduction, picture 1 is other subject.

Remarkable images of great merit. Are the spiral, flagellum-bearing organisms visible in some of the photos, large bacteria?

Every now and then I get some of these in my aquarium. Wait till you observe one catch a smaller bug. :)

yes, there are bacteria, Spirillum cf volutans with obvious flagella.
