Active zoospores of Algae (Chlorophyta?).
Looks like tiny Euglena (with flagellum and red eyespot)

Wonderful images and video Chris. What does your sample look like when you collect it, cause I have never seen any samples with so many individuals that close together. Usually I have to hunt over the whole coverslip to find anything. :)

I took this sample from aquarium. Algae was growing on the glass, forming green marks, easy seen with naked eye.
