Spathidium

Post by RogelioMoreno »

This predatory and scavenging ciliate was found in a sample that I took from the water that my wife added to the container (after few days) that has some flowers that we bought at the supermarket.

The body lenght is around 115 microns.

Sorry if my recents pictures have the background too dark; but I want to get the maximum dynamic range and at these setting of my Senarmont polarizer I get one more stop of dynamic range (checking the histogram) that the setting with a lighter background.

Rogelio,

Really fine looking images with a tremendous amount of detail. The images really "pop".

Very nice detail and sharpness. I was just reading about the water in cut flowers and what can be found there. I might just have to go buy some and take a look. :)
