The giant bacteria Achromatium oxaliferum. Size about 50 micron.

A very interesting bacteria Jan, where did you find him?

I find them now and then in pondwater samples from the neighbourhood.
It's one of the biggest bacteria and mostly you find single specs of them.
They move very slowly.
