Excellent. It's rare to see bacteria in this degree of detail with the light microscope. You have high power DIC working beautifully.

Nice. I was just reading recently how the Spirillum move. Seeing the video, it all made sense, although, you still can't see the micro-flagellates.

Chris,

I can agree with the others - your skills if about DIC are simply outstanding !
I've managed to get the PZO DIC last days but I've got some difficulties with it. I was trying to use it with the old Polish MB 30 microscope but the image quality is very poor. Could you give me some advice how to adjust it ?
What is the most important. You can give the information on "pm" in Polish.

Thank you for your comments

Mitch640, You're right, bacterial flagellum is usually not visible in the light microscope due to size below the limit of resolution but for some large species (e.g.Spirillum volutans) flagellum can be seen if we use contrasting methods like phase contrast, DF or DIC. It happened to me to see (very rarely) bacterial flagellum using DF or DIC.

Marek, of course. Please check PM.
I'm very curious results with your camera.
