Is this a Planula-larva from the Cnidaria (wich will be later a medusa)?
From marine plancton.

(Sorry - I forgot to misure the lenght)

He doesn't look like much, compared to what it will grow into, does it? :)

How did you ever find it?
I went "hunting" with my plancton net (mesh size 64 µm).
(When there is too much life in the water I simply take water from the sea and concentrate it at home with a kind of filter with meshsize 30 µm).
You could try this method in a big river or in a lake!
