Wow Jan, a great series of shots. Now that I see his nose/mouth, I wonder how he eats at all. Is this the same worm, or another one?

Thanks, this is another worm. I found some of them against the side of the sample jar. I've never seen it eat but you can see a big desmid inside of the body. It was a bit difficult to photograph the trunk because it was constantly sweeping. :?
