This picture is not very clear and beautiful, but it is very interesting (at least for me). I was watching a marine Copepode and in the same moment it began suddenly to go out of his skin. Unfortunately I was too slow to photograph it properly. But this process was interesting for me because I saw it the first time in my live.
Ah, thanks for posting this Franz. I have seen many empty skins, and some not empty that looked like they were ready to molt, but never saw it happening. Very interesting.
