a Medusa

Again a marine animal: A Medusa in phase contrast, Obj. 20x, without any eyepiece.
The body without the tentacles was 600 µm high. Unfortunately I dont know the name of the species.

Wow, Franz, a wonderful shot of this little big critter !
It looks very nice in phase contrast.
You caught a difficult position very well,
a always had problems with shooting medusa from the north sea,
they never wanted to go into the position i wanted to......
