Amoeba?

Found this on the underside of the coverslip.
Moved very slowly. Didn't see it eat anything.
All pics are 40X APA, 2.8X Camera Adapter, Canon 50D

This guy has a 'halo' of what appears to be celia, but I did not see them 'rowing' as the critter moved.

Maybe a Nuclearia...but for the moment I wouldn't put my money on that ID
