A couple of my favorite desmids. Both are focus stacks using Zerene Stacker. DIC 100x Achromat on Olympus BH-2 with flash.

Beautifull desmids and fantastic image quality! It's amazing what you can achieve using simple achromat.

Thanks Chris, I've also added Pediastrum using a 40x objective

I recently found examples of the first two, but they sure didn't come out that good. The last one is really nice, lot of detail there.
