Platycola truncata ?

At first, I thought this was a Stentor or vorticella, but it turns out to be a Platycola truncata, I think. There are more images of him on Google.

I found him attached to the side of a Hornwort aquarium plant, and then two others on another spine, so they seem to have found the aquarium to their liking.

Here's the video, which shows him much better.

Francisco, it very well could be. I was not familiar with this animal at all until yesterday. I thought it was a stentor at first.

Google seems to have pictures of this same animal under both names though, so it is doubly confusing for me. Although, Langenophrys seems to be more correct.
