Ho cercato di confrontare le mie foto con altre trovate su diversi siti. Quelle colonie sferiche sono molto simili a Microcistis flos aquae e anche ad Aphanocapsa. Sono confusa. ciao

Hi Antonella,

Your Cianobatteri (that sounds like Italian bread :D mmhh...) are tricky to identify. Your first and last image might show Microcystis, but are largely gone off. The first image shows too obvious a slime mantle, and the colonies in the last image is too irregular shaped to be M. flos-aquae, but as already said, they are gone off too much to even say for defenite it is Microcystis.

The second image might be Aphanothece, with slight cilindrical cells, the third image probably is Aphanocapsa.
