Wow! Whatever that tiny thing is on the left it looks like a tiny bunch of flowers in a vase! :)

Excellent. I would not normally expect phase contrast to do so well with such a 3-dimensional subject.

By the way I noticed I gave wrong information if about the objective - it certainly was not 40 X Olympus but CZJ 20 X apochromat. The image was slightly cropped. This species was extremely big and relatively flat. I've never seen it before. The "bunch of flowers" seems to be some Chlorophyta species in my opinion.
