Vivid colours! Are those colours naturally from the subject? If so, what captures them so well, the DIC, or will a flash mainly help?

These are false colors create by moving the objective DIC prism and then in post-processing changing del color cast.

Simon,

On second and third picture the specimen has vivid colors because they were close to the coverslip, on the other pictures there are some parts soft because of the water between the specimen and the coverslip. I am using Marienfeld coverslip (#1 and 1.5H).
