I think we did allmost the same. I made an oblique filter with some plastic foil.
For the polarization I placed a piece of pola filter from a movie glasses in the tubus. At the light I placed a Cokin Pola filter. Works great, costs almost nothing.

If you could choose between DIC and C-DIC which one would it be? What are the pros and cons of each technique?
