Spherical colony consists of a variable number of cells (2-32)
Free life
Colony size approx. 500um
Cell size approx. 8um
Used bright field illumination, oblique and darkfield

Very interesting algae, and it has flagella, like a euglena. It seems pretty complex if it can grow a shell too.
