I sampled this algae on rock.
I think Heterococcus sp.

Interesting Algae. So this does not live in water? Was it totally dry on the rock?

This algae lived with Lichens or mosses.
I "think" that this algae is attached to mosses.
I "think" this algae and Attachment Substrate is symbiosis relationship.

I success unialgal culture in Bold's basal medium.

This algae live in water. :smt103

I think... chloroplasts of Heterococcus is parietal, disc-shaped.
and Heterococcus is easily not break.
Trentepohliaceae starts spherical shape......
