4 pictures with different focuses, obj. 40x. Total diameter 100 µm, others somewhat bigger and smaller:

Remarkable are the small globules at the rim. In the same sample: Pediastrum, Suctoria, Spirilles and a bulk of very thin chlorophyta threads.

Any ID idea?

Best regards

Interesting pictures

..the bubble appearance reminds me of Pompholyxophrys a filose amoeba..but I do not see any pseudopods..it is also smaller..the clear cyst like structures look to me like Blepharisma cysts..perhaps this is a combined effort..egg or cyst with other protist cysts attached?/

Sorry best I could do.

Good luck

John

Thank You very much John,

filopodes I could not see, I think it is some sort of cyst. So let's hope for another answer :) .

Hello,
the big sphere seems to be a pollen grain. The small globules are probably resting spores of the fungus Olpidium luxurians (containing an oil droplet), after Sparrow, Aquatic Phycomycetes.
