I have made some new images this year but first I have to finish archiving. The first 2 are Volvox details. The zygotes of Volvox globator and a close up of a young Volvox aureus with the flagella just formed. The third image is a barnacle larva, for Charlie. It is a bit different but comes pretty close.
I know there are a million ways to photograph things but there is a limited amount of ways to create a balanced image. It has to do with the 'stance' of the organism. When it is positioned well there is a sort of equilibrium. Does that make sense?
