An Adult Female Cyclops With Egg Sacs

Finally, after watching the six stages of the juvies and the six stages of the adults, I finally get to see an adult female with eggsacs. Quite a site for me, although it seems very unlikely that there were no adult females in my aquarium until now.

Here's a video of the cyclops.

1. She has no heart, lungs or gills that I can see.


2. The two angled columns going down the center are large muscles that wag the tail.


3. Again, the two large muscle packs going down into the two short legs.


4. A see-thru view of one of the eggsacs. The eggs seem well developed.


5. All these shots are full frame. The above at 10x, this last is at 4x.
