Hi Arturo,

a nice crisp photo.

I think that it is a species of Cocconeis.

It looks rather like the non-raphe valve of C. pseudomarginata (which is marine) . I do not think that it is actually this species, but something similar.

I think René will be the best one to name this for you.

Ha! I'm mostly into planktonic stuff, and this is surely not something in the watercolumn. And I have never seen it. But I think BJ is right, C.pseudomarginata comes close. You can see the raphe on the other side, out of focus.
Images in Witkowski show it with a clear ridge, which is probably lost here during stacking. Real shame to lose infomation like this. Hopefully, with the introduction of 3D screens this will be taken on board...
