That's the culprit. Yours seems to have been eating better than mine, little bigger to. Do you know the name of this guy?

I believe Stentor rubra as opposed to Stentor coeruleus the blue Stentor

Thanks for your comments. From my readings the Stentor that you mention is supposed to be "bright red" to crimson" I have never seen one nor a picture of one. In my eyes the only difference in the pink,blue brown and colorless are the addition of pigments so I suppose a bright red also exists.
