This Cyclopoida not only sat still for some still shots, he even hung around for a short video screening. They usually hop around so fast you could never get any video of one.
Look closely at this guy though. It looks like he has 6 legs, but in reality, each leg has a double right under it.

Mitch: With the great image quality you are getting from that 20x it's time to try some stacking. Even half-a-dozen shots of that little beastie will give a nice deep-focus image. He seems to have kept still for long enough.
Zerene Stacker is excellent and easy to use, essentially foolproof.

Quote – Holmes on ‘Entomology’
” I suppose you are an entomologist ? “
” Not quite so ambitious as that, sir. I should like to put my eyes on the individual entitled to that name.
No man can be truly called an entomologist,
sir; the subject is too vast for any single human intelligence to grasp.”

Thanks NU. I did get the free trial version. I tried it once with shots from that other scope and didn't get a decent image. Since then, I have been fighting hardware and imaging issues and did not have any time for stacking, so the trial version has timed out.
I'm waiting a while longer to buy it, as I am not quite ready to start using it anyway. One thing at a time.
