I was mesmerized by this character. Looking at the frames I can see that I 'sat there' (actually I stand) for 56 minutes. Lots of shots but very few showing all the pseudopodia. The time it took to orientate the slide, get the focus, and push the shutter, one of more pseudopodia had extended outside the frame.
Yes, I was fortunate that this character decided to walk on the coverslip and not on the slide
The S Plan Apo's seem to work OK with the BHS DIC.

Ferry: the test appears to be made of small clear stones; looks like glass but is most likely silica sand.
