Finally having succumbed to the cold and now deceased, this Yellow Jacket still gives one last look of defiance. "If I were still alive :smt093 ", it seems to impart. :roll:

I really like this photo Ken. Differential focus works particularly well with this composition. Coupled with the classic "warning" colours it gives a sense of directed aggression and intent. In fact it's hard to believe that the subject is no longer "alive and stinging".

Thanks Bruce :D . I have been stung by these wasps so many times it ain't funny :lol: Actually the sting isn't all that bad..well it does hurt but it is afterwards that really gets me. It "itches!!" like crazy. :roll:

The fun part is drinking one with your soda :shock: I wish we could really see through the eyes of different animals.

Sometimes I think it is embarassing enough to see mankind through our own but anyway I see what you are saying, it would be interesting to see things the way they do but maybe not all the time.
