4X Leitz projection eyepiece plus 1/3x relay lens
Leitz 4X Plan fluorite objective

Image No. 1, 66 images at .001 inch increments
Leitz dry darkfield condenser D 0.80

Image No. 2, 93 images at .001 inch increments
Reflected light, diffused fiber optic illumination

Canon 50D
Zerene and Photoshop processing.
Live subjects, No.2 sedated.

Some additional higher magnification images from the study. Some leg movement in the lower image spoils the clarity a bit. Note the set of eyes below the fully exposed spiderling peering through the webbing.
