Very nice image. How are you guys getting such good color in your images? What I see seems to have little color at all. Matbe they just don't have any. Do you use filters?

No filters, just phase contrast. But after taking the photograph I had to improve it in PSE because of very weak contrast. I looked at the histogram and improved it if about darks and whites, and that's it. After that I improved the background because of a lot of debris around the Phacus (handy - a lot of work and patience). I know that some of images with cleaned the background up in this way look slightly artifficially, but I prefer it instead of disturbing debris.
