Images made through a microscope. All subject types.
Yes. It is a 39 image ZS stack. There were many pseudopodia emerging and moving about, so after running the stack I retouched using a single frame where they showed a little. With brightfield illumination, and the test being so much darker than the clear pseudopodia, they barely registered (overexposed) at the proper exposure for the "shell" (actually they don't show up well in "straight" brightfield in any event).Looking at the right side near the opening, are those pseudopodia I see? Was this a live specimen?
BTW... this is just sitting on top of the slide in a drop of water. I did not want to use a cover slip since it is too easy to accidentally break these with a cover slip. That's why I used the 20/0.46 Achromat... the higher NA 20X I have does not do well at all with no coverglass (and I don't use the M Plans on this BHS microscope).
