Philodina

Post by ABEL »

Hello

These photos are of small Philodinas. They come from water suspended in a trunk. They possess small crowns.

The photos are in DIC TO 40x with the camera jenoptik progress flash

And here, also with DIC to 40X; but these come from water in a vase of a cemetery.

ABEL,
Your photographs are excellent - both the optical quality and colours. I like especially the colour of background. I've got question to you - could you send picture presenting your set for photomicrography. And one more - will you be so kind to get the link to French forum for microscopy where there are your other microphotographs.
Regards
Marek

Hello.

Unfortunately I do not have photos still of my equipment but I work with an olympus BX 51 and the camera JENOPTIK PROGRESS CF WITH FLASH; I have a camera Lumenera Infinity CCD 2.1 also.

Here, is it correct to write a link?

Really super pictures of the highest merit. A fortunate combination of very high quality equipment (is this a professional 'work' lab setup?) and a skilled operator. Congratulations.

Edit: Now I have seen your microscope I can only say that you are fortunate indeed to have such a wonderful setup for your own use. Like you I started with a small microscope, that was over 50 years ago.

Thank you very much for your comments.

I have some ancient photos of the microscope with the camera Lumenera and another photo of the camera Jenoptik. But nowadays, I use
electronic flash in the Jenoptik progress. My use of the microscope is personal not professional.

Abel,

Thankyou for posting images of your microscope(s) and camera arrangement.

It is good to see the equipment used and it is always a pleasure viewing the stunning photographs you upload.
