a protozoon from the Foraminifera

Post by Franz Neidl »

This is a protozoon from the Foramininifera (species?), which I found in the plancton.

The word "Foraminifera" is coming from Latin and means litteraly "hole bearers" (foramen + ferre). In this picture you see the holes very well.
