Not quite a macro but closer than a close-up I think.

Anyway I thought the texture and design of the leaves made for an interesting theme in black and white.

I like the way you have horizontal and vertical elements mixed in with the curved leaves and the curved ribs of the leaves. Everything contrasts very nicely IMO.

Did you photograph it in B & W mode? Or postprocessing, maybe?
