The Iron Giant

Post by beetleman »

If you have young children, you might have seen this movie, the Iron Giant (1999 Warner Bros.) The time is 1957, the heart of the cold war, a giant 50' robot (actually a giant weapon) falls to earth. Because he has some damage to his head, he does not remember his purpose. Hogarth, the young boy, befriends the giant and teaches him right and wrong and lets him know that he does have a choice and he doesnt have to be a weapon (of course the government wants to destroy him). Really a great piece of animation  I came across this small toy while cleaning up some junk and I thought it would make a cool subject for a macro shot. Hogarth (the boy) is almost 1" (26mm) tall from his PF Fliers to the tip of his Buck Rogers Ray Gun. Please let me know if I am crossing any copyright boundries here.
