I found a dead Sparrow and the poor thing had these 2 Velvet Mites eating its eye.

Wow Jody :D This is a beautiful image! What are they on? I have seen these mites before but they were crawling around on the ground. :)

Excellent capture Jody. beautiful subjects. You can see why they are named velvet mites...extra sharp focus also. :smt023
